My mission is to educate business owners on cryptocurrency and introduce them to the future of payments. Operating a business during the pandemic and currently in uncertain times has been difficult.

My vision is for every business to tap into a new trillion-dollar market, generate new revenue, and enable global growth. This involves each business being able to accept payment by cryptocurrency from over 150 million new potential customers but settling to their bank account in fiat/ Australian dollars. PayXcrypto is a payment gateway between the business and the wallet holder that replicates a "credit card like" transaction. It uses patented technology and is a secure way for a wallet holder to pay using their wallet on their cryptocurrency exchange without any cost.

This technology helps reduce fraud, identify anomalies, and identify suspicious activity. This removes the risk for a business that wants to accept cryptocurrency. It's seamless and simple for a business to accept cryptocurrency without having to manage cryptocurrency and settle in Australian dollars. All crypto exchanges and all the companies we onboard are subject to due diligence, including credit/anti-money laundering/ counter-terrorism financing/ sanctions, amongst others to create a safe ecosystem.

We have seen a significant behavioural change in how we pay online and face to face. Consumers have adopted new technology, and with the popularity of cryptocurrency and digital wallets, these are here to stay. I want to make sure every business is poised to capture this trend, gain new a customer base and help them scale globally.

James Gallagher and Zenita O'Neill are two Irish born and bred entrepreneurs that have extensive experience within hospitality sector. We own various successful bars in Melbourne, in addition we are the organisers of a major live music festival St Kilda St Patrick's Festival. During 2020 we created MUCUDU mobile app. We used the traditional method of people catching up in bar setting through a digital app. The creation of the app is for users to meet and socialise with others within a virtual bar setting. The app furthermore focuses on the hospitality industry to enhance revenue, and drive customers into venues with ease.

Additional features within the app also will enhance a venue to build a loyal customer base, advertise venues promotions, and a space for promoting new products within a social context. Using the extensive insight that James and Zenita both have within hospitality the focus for the app is that a user has a positive UX experience for both user and venue operator. To date the app is receiving positive feedback and major industry partnerships are being negotiated.

We are worthy of a wining an Irish Australian Business Award, as we both are two passionate successful Irish businesspeople, that is making noise within the Australian hospitality sector. We have designed a platform that has brought an industry sector that depends on people into the digital era to connect.

MUCUDU is exactly what it does it allows users to Meet Up, Catch Up, Drink Up.

I believe I would be a worthy winner of an Irish Australian Commerce business award because of the assistance I have given too small to mid-sized business owners and managers through the provision of clear and concise OHS management systems and advisory services that helps ease the compliance burden on the companies’ owners and managers while contributing to a net benefit to the wellbeing of their employees.

I established Custodian Safety Services in 2013 as I seen a gap in the market to assist small to mid-sized companies with there occupational health & safety compliance. This allowed me to grow a business while maintaining a career as an OHS professional. Establishing Custodian Safety Services has proved to be a huge success to date I have provided services to over 200 different companies across Australia, have developed an online shop that provides low-cost compliance documents to small businesses and have recently added auditing services to our service offering.

I am also currently actively involved in the development of the occupational health and safety profession through membership with the Australian Institute of Health & Safety and active service on the Victorian Branch committee which includes mentoring, event organising and submissions relating to relevant policy/legislation changes.

Custodian Safety Services continue to operate at profit throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and I hope to continue the growth and service offerings of Custodian Safety services now into future.
