Paddy Kearns – Executive Director at Westforce Construction
Leaving Ireland in 2006 at the young age of 22 with nothing but a loan from his local bank and an engineering degree, Paddy soon realised that Australia was the new land of opportunities.
20 years on and Paddy is Executive Director and shareholder of Westforce Construction after being employed during their first ever project in 2007. Being a natural leader from his days of winning county medals on the GAA pitches, he’s transitioned this team mentality from managing a small crew of 5 men, onto 300 direct employees, with Westforce regarded as leaders in workplace culture and setting the standard for the industry.
On this journey Paddy has experienced everything from acquiring equity and releasing equity to a multinational partner, to setting up a wellness business back in Ireland, and believes you need to take your opportunities.
Outside of work Paddy is a proud husband and a father of two. His passions are keeping fit, being in nature, exploring different areas of self-development both physically and mentally. He sees the importance of investing in yourself and loves travel and adventure as he believes life needs to be kept in balance.
