She has previously served overseas as the A/g Consul-General in Honolulu and as First Secretary at the Australian High Commission in Ottawa.   Ms Taylor specialises in security-related foreign policy\, as DFAT’s former policy lead on Defence\, intelligence and national security\, including on NATO engagement\, and has strong leadership\, crisis and risk-management credentials.
