I have over 14 years’ experience in Big 4 professional services firms, encompassing both client delivery and business development across many industries with a focus on the resources and technology sectors. I enjoy mentoring colleagues as well as driving teaming across functions and with stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.

I work with companies ranging from start up to SME and through to multinationals. As part of a national team of 70, I directly manage 18 team members across Perth and Melbourne in advising our diverse clients on global investment and innovation incentives to lower their cost of innovation and the development of governance frameworks to manage risk.

I started my career as a corporate tax graduate with Deloitte Ireland. My move to Australia in 2011 aligned with my specialisation in the R&D Tax Incentive and Government Grants. On moving to Australia, I joined EY and progressed to Senior Manager, introducing 11 new clients (including ANZ bank) to the firm in first last 12-month period with the firm resulting in $900k of additional revenue. In addition to my SM role in the R&D team I had a key role in the sponsorship and mentoring of high calibre technology organisations through the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award resulting in the development of robust relationships and introducing relevant service offerings to these organisations to assist their expansion and growth.

I joined Deloitte Australia in 2015 as an Account Director and progressed to Partner in June 2018. I believe team development, including technical development is the core to market growth and I assist my team with their career planning and progression, encouraging and leading them to think innovatively about what we do and how we do it.
I believe this business success and perseverance shines a fantastic light on the impact Irish people can have on Australian business. I promote the strength of the Irish education system and the hard-working nature of the Irish workforce and drive opportunity for those who wish to embark on a career in Australian business.
Additionally, given the multi-national nature of my client base I form connections for them to the Irish business community should they be interested in setting up a European office or embark on joint ventures with third parties based in Europe.
