ABOUT OUR PANEL

Jim Ahern has over 25 years’ experience in Commercial and Asset Finance prior to joining Judo Bank in February 2020.  He was a Senior Manager at the ANZ for the last 10 years.  Jim has also held Leadership and Relationship roles in Commercial banking at Westpac, NAB and Macquarie Bank. Jim lives in Melbourne but has previously lived in Brisbane, Sydney and Dublin. Jim is a member of:

  • Chartered Banker -Charter Bankers Institute UK
  • Fellow of Institute Public Accountants
  • FINSIA
  • Turnaround Management Association


Rachel Van Ketwich is an R&D tax and grants specialist with a background in engineering. She supports organisations across a number of industries to access the R&D Tax Incentive and to identify and apply for other grant funding. Prior to joining GrantReady, Rachel worked as a senior R&D Tax and Grants Consultant at KPMG and Ernst & Young. She also has over 8 years industry experience in the design and management of civil infrastructure and construction projects. Rachel has a keen interest in government policy and in particular how it relates to business and innovation in Australia.
 

Alan Crabbe is the co-founder of Pozible & Birchal. Originally from N Ireland, Alan introduced Crowdfunding to Australia and Asia pacific in 2010. The Pozible & Birchal platforms were developed to help individuals, groups, entrepreneurs and social change-makers engage with audiences, raise capital and help realise their purpose and ambitions.
