Nadia Owen
Whilst her initials spell the word ‘no’, this is not a word that appears in Nadia Owen’s vocabulary. Daughter of world-famous microsurgery pioneer Prof. Earl Owen, Nadia grew up in a high-performance household in Sydney, encouraged to question the ‘no’ and fight for the ‘yes’. Like father like daughter, Nadia thrives on pushing boundaries in the name of progress, and actively challenges gender norms in business settings.  After finishing her Bachelor of Arts at The University of Sydney, Nadia moved to London working in PR and Events across France and the United Kingdom. After 5 years she returned to Sydney for a year to do MICE events in Asia-Pac, then moved to Melbourne where she ran a boutique wedding venue for a few years before moving into stadia.
In 2017 Nadia took the opportunity to move to Perth and set up the Meetings & Special Events (MASE) department at Optus Stadium, beating four Perth men to the job. Nadia has become the ‘Face of MASE’ at ‘The World’s Most Beautiful Stadium’ and can’t wait to share her story with you.

Lily Brazel
Lily debuted for the Hockeyroos in November 2017, not so coincidently this was also the time the idea for Stature sprouted. Lily has played 52 games for Australia; competing with the Hockeyroos at the 2018 Champions Trophy claiming a Silver Medal and the 2019 Inaugural Pro League also claiming a Silver Medal against the world no.1 side, The Netherlands. Lily reached 50 caps for Australia in the same game the team qualified for the Tokyo Olympics. Alongside her hockey career, Lily is the founder of the sustainable athletic apparel start-up, Stature Australia. Stature is built upon a closed-loop system that designs apparel with end-of-life in mind. Lily founded Stature due to her frustration of the little respect athletic apparel and sporting uniforms gave to the people in their supply chains and the environment in which we depend upon. Through Stature, Lily is aiming to change the way athletic apparel is made and consumed in order to respect and serve all life on Earth.
