According to research by the Australian Government's Department of Jobs and Small Business, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria are projected to make the largest contributions to employment growth to May 2023, with employment projected to increase by 173,700 (or 7.0 per cent) in Queensland.

Current figures show less than one suitable applicant per job across a host of professional and trades vacancies in QLD.
