 Marco is a qualified civil engineer specialised in
  hydraulics and civil structures with over 25 year
 s&rsquo\; experience in infrastructure worldwide.\
 n \n He joined Webuild in 1998 and\, after holding
  a wide range of management roles in several count
 ries around the world\, in 2015 was appointed Gene
 ral Operation Manager ANZ and South East Asia\, ov
 erseeing DC and PPP projects development in the ar
 ea including metros\, railways\, tunnels\, roads\,
  bridges and hydroelectric power plants.\n In Octo
 ber 2018 Marco was appointed Executive Director As
 ia Pacific in charge of business and operations in
  the entire region.\n \n While serving as Executiv
 e Director Asia Pacific\, Marco has overseen Webui
 ld growth in Australia leading the local team in t
 he successful bid for Snowy 2.0 (the largest pumpe
 d hydro project in Australia)\, North East Link in
  Melbourne (the largest PPP project in Australia&r
 squo\;s history)\, and\, more recently\, Sydney Me
 tro Western Sydney Metro SSTOM PPP (the single lar
 gest contract ever awarded by Sydney Metro).\n \n 
 Between September 2022 and March 2023 Marco also p
 romoted and successfully led the acquisition of Cl
 ough\, one of the oldest and more reputable engine
 ering and construction companies in Australia. In 
 June 2023\, Marco was appointed the Executive Pres
 ident of Clough\, a Webuild Group company.\n \n Un
 der his tenure Australia has quickly become the se
 cond largest single market after Italy.\n
