Yesterday evening the Chamber held the first ever reception for IACC/GT Mentoring Program Mentees only, which was hosted by ISIS at their offices on Queens Road. It was intended to give mentees a chance to voice their experiences, concerns, and ideas about the ever-expanding Mentoring Program.
The event was a huge success, with John Sharkey of Sonas Consulting Group facilitating the evening and keeping everyone on track. He did a wonderful job of guiding the conversations, getting the group to participate, and in sharing his own wisdom and experiences. Many thanks to John for volunteering his time to help improve the program for everyone.
The group included both present and future mentees, who were able to gain a feel and understanding for what the IACC/GT Mentoring Programis all about. The feedback and experiences shared will help to further develop the program and allow future pairings to be as accurate as possible.
