IACC/GT Mentoring Business and Leadership Lunch, Melbourne

Date:
Monday, May 5, 2014

Grant Thornton were our excellent hosts for the mentoring and business leadership lunch and this provided our participants with a generous meal and the opportunity to meet some of the experienced mentors on this year’s IACC mentoring program.

We were fortunate to have John Harte as our facilitator and his knowledge and expertise helped to get our brains in gear for an insightful lunch. John challenged everyone present to think about the steps that need to be in place to create a coherent mentoring relationship. The discussion topics lead to a wealth of ideas and suggestions from all the mentors present and I believe everyone gained valuable knowledge and information to help them with their own mentoring relationship.

The lunch also provided an opportunity for those present to network amongst their peers and meet like-minded individual within the Irish/Australian community in Melbourne.

The mentoring program is an opportunity for young Irish executives and Irish businesses to learn from more experienced professionals and if you believe you would like to be part of the 2015 program as either a mentor or mentee, please contact Trisha O’Donnell at admin@irishchamber.com.au or read a little more about this program on our website - http://irishchamber.com.au/mentoring.
